With the aid of a very participative client and a close working relationship with the main contractor, we were able to help create a truly aspirational family home.
From the moment you walk through the wide Hormann entrance door set within a shaped curtain wall façade, the opulence of the interior design is obvious. To complement this, we used large glazed panels with a clean uncluttered appearance to create a feeling of openness.
Throughout the property, 9 sets of slim profile sliding doors link the inside to the outside, including 2 sets forming a dramatic moving corner in the bar area.
9 rooflights add lots of height and light around the property, including a 5 metre by 1.6 metre lantern style rooflight over a family chill out area.
Sets of tilt and turn windows in the bedrooms allow for easy ventilation and open fully inwards like French doors.
Glazed screens around the swimming pool and between the swimming pool and gym ensure that the same feeling of light and openness is a consistent theme across the whole project.
All the frames were produced in a light grey (RAL7035) which works perfectly on this property.
Overall, so many highlights and finishing touches on what remains one of our favourite projects.
